The Brief

This original 70’s beachside bach was small and outdated for its growing family. With cooking and entertaining high on the priorities, the home needed a complete transformation and extension.

How we elevated the home

The renovation included two living areas that open to a deck and outdoor living, larger bathrooms, a spacious laundry, and separate toilet. The bold sleek kitchen and butler’s pantry ensure this family can indulge their passion for garden-to-table dining. The project also involved improving energy efficiency, sustainability and, given its coastal position, durability. Energy efficiency was high on the list with a ducted heat-pump system, double-glazed windows and water-tank collection for the vege garden. Rebuilt with sustainability and future-proofing in mind, the family who lives here will enjoy it for years to come.
