Site Visit Consultation
An NZ Proud Contracts Manager will visit your home for an onsite consultation, where they will ask more detailed questions, take photos and walk through your vision.
Project Design & Consent
If your project requires design and consent, we collaborate with the architect to create 3D concept designs so you can visualise your project. The architect then converts your concept to detailed drawings for NZ Proud to provide accurate pricing and a project plan. Once pricing is accepted for time efficiency our team books in your job while simultaneously the architect creates consented plans to submit for building consent approval. Minor projects may not require design or consent and will only require an estimate.
For projects that don't require design and consent you'll receive a pricing estimate within 14 days. Larger design projects we'll present a pricing estimate to you within 20 working days. The Contracts Manager will walk you through the estimate in detail and answer any questions.
With your approval of the project estimate, we finalise your project plan and get straight onto ordering all material needed for your project and managing all of the sub-contractors. You’re also onboarded to our clever project management software where you will have full transparency of the project from start to completion.
Introduction to your team
Prior to starting of your project we will introduce you to your Project Manager, who will be your go-to throughout your renovation, alteration, or extension. You will also have a team of NZ Proud qualified master builders assigned to your project that you’ll get to know, and we can also manage all the required sub-trades for you.
Throughout the renovation, alteration, or extension process your Project Manager will visit your site twice weekly to check in and provide you with weekly updates. We also follow a robust quality control process throughout the project to ensure work is consistently completed above industry standards.
Congrats, your project is complete! As we hand over your project we provide you with a handover pack including all of the warranty documentation, records, and important information you’ll need. After completion, we will check in again to ensure everything is still perfect for you.
Because we treat every customer as a client for life we want to ensure you're well-supported after completion. We will schedule two follow-up quality control checks 6 months and 12 months post completion. We will also maintain regular check-ins should you require any further support after we have delivered your project.
